On Saturday August 16, 2008 members of the Scranton Fire Department  played a softball game against members of WYOU news.  All proceeds from the day would help in our annual MDA Fill the Boot collection.  Both teams enjoyed the event but in the end under the guidance of Coach Dolphin the SFD defeated WYOU 15 - 4 in 9 innings.
